With baby #2 on the way, I’m constantly looking for delicious lactation boosting foods recipes to pin to Pinterest to help our breastfeeding relationship. While I never had a supply issue with Skibbles, I was constantly looking for easy on the go snacks, so what better way for me to double up this time around and make sure that my snacks are at least helping my lactation journey at the same time. I would also love to be able to donate milk this time around, so have a little bump in my supply once it’s established will be great for that as well.
Additionally, based on our two year journey, I’ve seen so many moms looking for lactation boosting foods to increase their milk supply. I thought this would be an amazing way to simply give them a ton of incredible recipes all in one place.
I will admit that I haven’t had the opportunity to try all the recipes in this post. Of course, we have tried ours and we fully stand behind them, but after you try one (or all) of them, we would love to hear back in the comments about which ones are your favorite!
We do recommend grabbing ground flax seed, brewer’s yeast, and old fashioned oats ahead of time, since most of the lactation boosting foods recipes that we share here contain those three things the most. Enjoy!
