We have been loving getting into the kitchen with our little one for Mini Chef Mondays. I can’t believe everything that she has learned in just a short amount of time. She’s learned the difference of so many different ingredients and I love hearing her say some of the names (like cinnamon and snickerdoodle). Every time I walk into the kitchen now, she asks to help me whether that’s baking cookies, scrambling eggs, or just making a cup of tea. I know that these are life skills that are going to be amazing for her to have as she grows older.
We’re gearing up for our Mini Chef Mondays posts and ideas for 2016, but we wanted to take the time today to recap the recipes we’ve made so far in the kitchen with our girl and highlight some of the fun times.
Here’s the recipe’s we’ve made so far:
- Dye Free Mini Red Velvet Cake Recipe
- Snickerdoodle Cheesecake Funnel Cake Recipe
- Christmas Rice Krispie Treats dipped in homemade caramel and homemade fudge sauce
- Sweet Potato Stew
- Sweet Potato Pie
- Peanut Butter STUFFED Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Sweetly Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
- Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins
And I can’t share these recipes again today without sharing some of the great photographic memories that we’ve made too. They are some of my favorite pictures that we’ve ever taken.
It’s been 7 weeks full of pure fun and excitement for us girls and we can’t wait to bring you some deliciousness in 2016. We hope you are truly enjoying our Mini Chef Mondays series and that you continue to join us in 2016 so that you can see more of what we are whipping up in the kitchen and hopefully inspire you to get in the kitchen with your little ones too!
Check out some of the great work done by the other bloggers participating in Mini Chef Mondays too!
