I’m constantly looking for quick and easy meals that are nutritious for our family and full of flavor. But again, I need it to be quick. While I am typically home, I do work from home most of the day, therefore, I’m still looking for fast, just like many working outside the home families. A few months ago, Andrew asked me to make him shrimp fried rice. I made a whole meal in addition to the rice and he looked so confused when he got home. I asked what was wrong and he said that he typically just eats shrimp fried rice by itself and that I wouldn’t have had to made an entire meal beside that. SAY WHATT!? The month after, I made fried rice with chicken. It was incredibly easy, ready in 30 minutes and I’ve never turned back. It’s on our meal list at least once a month.
I’ll be honest that I’ve seen Success® Boil-in-Bag in stores for a long time, but had never personally tried it for myself until recently. I’m not even entirely sure why I’ve never tried it, but since trying it now, I’m in love. I had perfectly cooked rice (which is hard for me to do) in under 10 minutes. That means I still had 20 minutes to play around with dinner to get it ready in under 30 minutes! And that I did!

Crab fried rice is completely easier to make than you may imagine. I love creating the little hole in the middle of the rice to add the egg. It’s like egg in a basket but with rice! HAHA!

We used Success® Whole-Grain Brown Rice for our recipe. 100% whole grain and gluten free, it’s guaranteed perfect every time in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients
Two bags Success® Whole Grain Brown Rice, cooked (4 cups cooked rice)
1/8 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/2 tbsp Fish Sauce
1 tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
2 eggs, beaten
3 green onions, finely chopped, reserve 1 tbsp of the chopped green stalk
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ginger fresh grated
Black Pepper, to taste
1 cup frozen green peas
2 tbsp olive oil + more
6 -8 oz container of cooked real crab meat, drained

Directions:
In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, fish sauce, rice wine vinegar, pepper and set aside.

In a wok, add the oil over medium high heat. Add in minced garlic, green onions, and ginger and stir constantly for 2 minutes. Reduce heat to medium low. Add the cooked rice. Make a hole in the middle of the rice, add a touch of oil and add the beaten eggs into the hole. Scramble the eggs in the hole and then incorporate the eggs into the rest of the fried rice. Add the sauce, frozen green peas, and the crab meat. Continue to stir gently, making sure the rice doesn’t burn on the bottom for 2-3 minutes, or until peas are thawed and crab meat is warmed throughout. Garnish with the reserved chopped green onion stalk and serve immediately.

My kids love crab and rice so I'm sure they like this! I make poppy seed chicken over rice a lot. It's a fave at our house and my kids request it a lot.

Your recipe sounds and looks dreamy ~ but sadly (for me and my Honey/Hubby developed an allergy to CRAB (and shrimp and Lobster) a few years ago (what a drag!) I'm going to try making this Fried Rice with Calamari, Scallops or maybe even FISH ~ Salmon or Whitefish sound pretty good ~ even a combo might be good!

I honestly would be lost without Success Rice: I always have a box or

Subbed Oyster Sauce for the ***Fish Sauce (see note below) but it still tasted great ~ also added some shredded carrots (for color and nutritional value.) It comes out
