We love traveling around during the summer. Even though we don’t technically have “summer school vacation” because Skibbles is only 2.5 years old, it’s still the best time to get out and about to explore. While we haven’t made too many long trips with her because we have been actually enjoying more “staycations”, we knew this year with a new baby coming this summer, that “staycations” would be the only option we were comfortable with for our family. Luckily, we live in the heart of so many amazing areas, so we will be exploring more of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. this summer with our girls.
Since we are planning these “staycations” throughout the summers, it’s very important to us that our cars are up on maintenance and going to keep us going. My car is older and I would be lying if I said it didn’t make me somewhat nervous that one day it’s just going to stop working. Much to my surprise, I can head to Wal-mart for certain automative upkeep like oil changes with Pennzoil. I loved being able to get my oil changed at Wal-mart while I was there grabbing a few groceries (and daddy and Skibbles played!!). Not only was it convenient for me so I didn’t have to make two separate trips somewhere, but the cost of getting a high mileage oil change was also significantly less than anywhere else. High mileage Pennzoil oil changes actually help reduce leaks and oil consumption in cars like mine with high mileage. Not only that but Pennzoil gives complete protection allowing you to drive an extra 550 miles per year versus having a dirty engine. For us, that’s enough to get most of our “staycation” trips!
From June 10th to September 9th, Pennzoil oil changes are on Rollback at Walmart Automative Care Center stores. You can get a High Mileage oil change like I did for just $35.88 or a Platinum Full Synthetic oil change for just $45.88.
