Want to know the way to Andrew’s heart?  Cookies.  Specifically, chocolate chip cookies.  Even more specifically, my triple chocolate chip cookies. I have to agree that I wasn’t a fan of chocolate chip cookies before we got together.  Some family and friends even said before that I was un-American for not liking chocolate chip cookies, but hey, it was what it was, and now the good news is since I started making this recipe for him, I’m actually a fan.  See everyone wins!

I do have a confession.  See this picture.  The amazingly perfect cookie dough batter?  I could eat the entire bowl just like this.  It’s so freaking good.  Please tell me I’m not alone in my love of all things cookie dough batter.  No judging!

In addition to the perfect batter, the key here is the triple whammy of chocolate chips.  I use a trio for the perfect combination of taste that everyone is sure to love.

Ingredients:
2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup butter, softened (NOT MELTED)
3/4 cup Dark Brown Sugar
3/4 cup Organic Sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup Cacao Chocolate Chips
*We use Ghirardelli or Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips for our recipes

Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375 degree F.  In a small bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt and set to the side In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter with the white and brown sugar until well combined.  Add vanilla and combine.  Then add eggs, one at a time, and mix until everything is combined well.  Slowly add flour mixture to the butter mixture making sure to get all the flour combined together.  Carefully fold in the chocolate chips.  Place spoonfuls of batter onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 8-12 minutes depending on your oven.

We hope you enjoy these as much as we do! Now keep reading to check out some other amazing cookie recipes from our friends!

My favorite is a peanut butter kiss cookie. Christmas is the only time of the year I make it so it is very special and just screams Merry Christmas 🙂
