In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Put green beans into melted butter and saute for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add zest from half the lemon and juice from all the lemon into the skillet.
Add salt and pepper until desired taste.
Stir to combine and cook for another 4 minutes.*
Remove from heat and serve.
