How to Make Homemade Taco Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp Italian Seasoning (Oregano only would be fine as a substitute)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a container and shake well. 

  2. Use immediately or store in an air tight container for up to 3 months

Recipe Notes

Use half of this recipe in place of a standard taco seasoning packet. Save the remaining half for another recipe or add a little more of this recipe if you like more spice.
