Amazon Prime Saves Time and Money for Everyone

June 23, 2017 by Larisha Campbell Leave a Comment

This post was sponsored by Amazon as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

I’ll be honest.  When I first heard about Amazon Prime, I was in my early 20s and I just didn’t get it. I was childless and didn’t see the need for people needing to shop on-line and get their things in approximately two days.

Then, I had children.

It all finally made sense to me.  Almost immediately quite frankly. While the 2 day turn around is great, it’s not what really drew me in initially. What drew me in is that I no longer had to lug a ton of bigger items AND my children around with me.  I remember trips where I’d have the baby in the bucket seat and I’m lugging all these big paper towel and toilet paper packages, diaper box, and more into the house.  It was just too much.  Now, I’m able to have everything I need delivered to my house at my convenience and just carry one (or six – let’s be honest here) Amazon boxes into our home when they are delivered.  Heck, I even let the kids carry some of the boxes for me.

What’s even better is that I’m saving money!  I’ve been able to get the same or even better prices on things like paper towels, toilet paper, baby products, personal hygiene products, and more.  It’s amazing what all I can find on Amazon at a cheaper price.

It’s been such a time blessing in our lives.

Now, I have time to do other things, like making memories, that the whole family loves.

What I didn’t know and recently learned though was that EBT cardholders can enjoy Amazon Prime benefits at a discounted monthly membership.  Yup, it’s true.

If you currently have a valid Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card, you qualify for the discounted membership.

While my greatest joy is the quick delivery service, Amazon Prime also offers a host of other amazing benefits:

  • Prime Video: Unlimited access to tens of thousands of movies and TV shows
  • Photos: Unlimited photo storage to preserve family pictures.
  • Prime Reading: A rotating selection of free e-books and magazines
  • Savings: Discounts on certain products (like 20% off diaper subscriptions)
  • Prime Now/Same-Day: Two-hour or same day delivery in eligible zip codes

We know that the Amazon Prime service has greatly changed our ability to free up time and save my sanity. I’m hoping that it can also do the same for many of the people I know using EBT cards. Everyone deserves the same ability to spend more quality time with their families and Amazon is working to ensure that for all families.

Right now customers can learn more or sign-up for a 30-day free trial at amazon.com/qualify.
