Grilled Nectarines with Cinnamon Sugar Butter + Time for Mom

July 15, 2014 by Larisha Campbell 3 Comments

It’s true, I can admit it, I’m obsessed with the grill. I have been using it for any and everything lately. My newest venture was trying to figure out some side dishes to make. I love fruit and have seen a lot of Pinterest images of grilling fruit, so I decided to give it a go.

I’ve typically see grilled peaches, but I didn’t have any, so that’s where I got the idea for nectarines. I’m so excited that I actually tried these! They were absolutely amazing. Even Skibbles ate an entire one!

Making them is extremely easy and take less than 10 minutes to have an amazing, fresh, side dish to go with any summer meal.

Ingredients:
4 nectarines, halved, seed removed
olive oil
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tbsp organic granulated sugar

Directions:
Heat grill to approximately 400 degrees. In a bowl, add butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Stire until well combined. Brush nectarines with olive oil and place flesh side down. Grill until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and drizzle each half with the cinnamon sugar butter. Serve immediately.

Oh – my husband grilled plums last time! I'm not a fruit person, but they were ok!
