We are constantly looking for great educational programs for Skibbles to watch. She watches more TV than I care to admit, simply because usually it’s one of the only ways for me to get anything done; however, I try to make it as educational as possible, so I at least feel like she’s learning at the same time. Unfortunately, TV today is the same quality, pure fun that we grew up with and I’m finding myself constantly making sure that certain shows are never even seen (insert extremely whiny kid or yellow sponge under the sea). It drives me crazy that I have to censor so much. We primarily watch streaming shows since I know I get to choose everything. So when I heard about a new show, Creative Galaxy, available on Amazon Prime, I was excited.
I turned on some of the newest episodes and Skibbles was transformed! She started repeating words from the show after the said them, which she’s never done before, so I was really excited about that. I love the main characters, Arty and Epiphany, and how fun and entertaining they are, all while being extremely educational, teaching problem solving, and being great role models.
One of my favorite things about each episode is that they are presented with fun, art projects and teach children about art being all around us. But the actual art projects are presented in each episode and teach the parent how to help the child recreate the project. We really loved the bath soap project and plan to do that one soon. With Andrew having a degree in Art, we have been getting Skibbles more and more into art projects and she loves it. (I love her excitement, but not the mess!)
As a side note: I caught the mom wearing her baby in one episode and the dad in another episode and absolutely love that Skibbles sees these things as normal since many shows don’t show attachment parenting traits. The main message I get from the show is that: Whether we think of our world as art or not – it is! Everywhere we go we can teach and inspire our children about art and this show really gets their creative minds going.
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

That sounds like a great kids show. I dont watch anything on amazon.
Being artistic is so important for a child. It makes them use their imagination and I think it makes them better people.
I love stuff like this that my kids can learn from and incorporate there own imagination into a project, looks like a lot of fun. Great way to let there imagination run free.
Thats really cute. My kids need more exposure to art!
Great show to inspire kids to do art! Very cool.
Greta form to keep kids entertain. MY kids always love computers games etc.
I love new things that my grandchildren can learn while having fun in the process.
Love it, better than watching cartoons anytime.
Baby wearing? Yay! This sounds like a breath of fresh air compatible other programs currently available to my little ones.
I liked that the show had actual art projects and were presented in each episode to let the parent know how to help their child recreate the project. My family will love this.
I have amazon prime and now need to let my 3 yr old watch this.. Looks fun!
I love that this program encourages kids' creativity and imagination!
Sound like a fun and uses kids imaginations which is awesome.
That is so cute! I'm a strong believer in teaching kids to be creative!
I am really thinking about watching shows on Amazon. I think the creative shows for children have come a long way. They are much better than what was offered to children in my or my daughter's youth. Great pictures and review, it was very interesting.
I like it and don't think it matters how long they are on a tv as long as they are enjoying and learning from it. Some things can be so helpful to our kids and can teach them different things than we can teach them at home.
so cute. my kids love art, and love watching new shows.
That sounds like a great show, my boys would love to watch it. My boys love arts and crafts and this sounds like something they would enjoy. Thank You
My kids would love this.
Having a new granddaughter (8 months), it's nice to see what shows are geared towards kids. When she gets a bit older, I'll know what to look for. And I agree, I can't stand some of these so called kid shows that are out there now. I am a censor too, lol!
This looks great for my grandkids. I will have to check this out. Thank you for sharing
Cute I agree with the other moms
Thank you for introducing me to this program.
THIS is really cute!!! I'm definitely going to check in out this! Our boys would love it!
We need more good, creative programming. This is good.
I love this idea
Great idea
This looks like something my boys would enjoy
I just went and watched Episode 1. I love it! It is very entertaining but so educational. I can't wait to share this with my grandchildren.
I'm going to say that I feel so technologically inadequate. I didn't even know you can watch shows on Amazon!!! This show, I must agree, sounds so creative for children! I also agree that the world is all art…in everything that we look at! Wonderful concept!
My daughter loves to try and be artistic, so this would be right up her alley! Thanks for the review. 🙂
This is neat! My child is exposed to some art but not a lot!
Such artists! I love that painting. Seriously.
yes this definitely sounds like fun, such a great program.. I love how they make it fun to learn for the little ones ..
This looks like a cute and fun kids show. It's also great that a show can teach kids something too. We used to have Amazon Prime, but never really watched anything on the subscription, we just enjoyed the free 2-day shipping.
Its inspiring think it would make my kids more creative
My granddaughter would love seeing this. Her father even majored in art and music in college. I will have to talk to him about it.
I'm always looking for educational toys for the grandchildren and the daycare children I keep. Thanks for sharing..
I love this, kids need creativity
Love this idea. I always try to do crafty things with my kids♡
