Let CVS Host Your Next Get Together

July 10, 2014 by Larisha Campbell 2 Comments

Being in a new town, in a new house will have anyone eager to host a get together.  Whether it’s a housewarming party, a birthday party, or just a summer cookout, we all stress about making sure that everything is perfect without breaking the bank.  And let’s face it, get togethers CAN break the bank. But they don’t have too.
In fact, it’s really easy not to break your budget and have a surplus of food for a simple get together when you shop at CVS.  Most of their Gold Emblem products are under $5 and with a wide assortment of items to choose from, you are sure to have everyone’s food needs covered.  I recently hosted a blogger engagement get-together at my home and CVS sent a ton of goodies for us to enjoy.  I loved that I had both gluten free and vegan food bloggers attending and they still had everything covered without me running around like a crazy person.  I also love that their juice is free of High Fructose Corn Syrup, so I was comfortable giving a sip to Skibbles.

We were sent dried fruit, both cheese and peanut butter crackers, mixed nuts, salt and pepper pistachios, milk chocolate bars, veggie chips, and the star of the party, Salted Caramel cookies.  While I was setting up for the party, I tasted one of the cookies and my taste buds did a dance across my tongue and once everyone arrived, they agreed that they were amazing.

I was able to set everything up nicely and organized and with 10 people here PLUS kids, we had more than enough food for everyone for what would roughly cost between $40-50. Everything was amazing and even the kids didn’t have anything to complain about. They just kept reaching up and grabbing snacks and going.  Skibbles absolutely loved the mixed nuts

I couldn’t get enough of the cookies and the apple juice.  Both were amazing and you would have never known they came from CVS.

With hundreds of locations across the US, the next time you are planning a party (or run out of something for a party) don’t pass up CVS.  Run in there and grab what you need.  While you’re there, check out the CVS ExtraCare machine that typically prints out coupons for Gold Emblem products as well.  Not the party type?  Don’t worry, whether you snacks for lunches or late night snacks, CVS Gold Emblem products have you covered there too! If you don’t have time, CVS even offer on-line ordering!  Check it out!
