New Home, New Roots Just for Dads: Bagster Bag by Waste Management Review & $75 Visa GC Giveaway

October 25, 2013 by Larisha Campbell 17 Comments

We are so excited you joined us for the last day of this awesome event! New Home, New Roots: Just for Dads, has been an awesome week long event featuring some great reviews and giveaways for things DAD needs in his new home!

Waste Management is the largest environmental solutions provider in North America. With more than 20 million customers across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, they are committed to developing new waste solutions that help communities and organizations achieve green goals, including zero waste. Last year, they worked with more than 100 Fortune 500 companies to become greener. They are also a renewable energy provider by doing things such as collecting the naturally occurring gas inside landfills to generate electricity. They are involved in many up-in-coming green projects to make the world we live in a better place.

Since buying our first home, Andrew has been most excited about the projects that he has been able to accomplish. With Bagster Bag, we are able to complete renovation projects on our own time, while making clean up not only a breeze, but also convenient and affordable. Bagster Bag is a new service from Waste Management and is as simple as three steps: Buy. Fill. Gone. You can purchase the bags on-line or at local home improvement stores and fill them with up to 3,300 pounds of debris or waste. Collection is then scheduled on-line or by phone and it’s gone! That simple!

During our last New Home, New Roots event, we had just learned about our sponsor Bagster Bag. We were absolutely amazing at their work and how much easier our clean-up was for our home renovations with them. We were thrilled when they agreed to be a part of this event as well because we knew just how important Bagster Bag is to a new dad wanting to complete projects around the home.
Andrew saw the bag when he came home one day and was immediately ready to go tackle something on our long to do list. What new homeowners don’t have an extensive home remodel list right? Our biggest project right now was removing some smaller trees and the extensive amount of branches that had fallen all over the property. We looking at the detailed introductions on the outside of the packaging, we learned that there are certain exceptions, like yard waste, that may not be accepted in our area. There’s a phone number to call on the bag to see if it’s accepted in your area.
I dialed the number, and was pleasantly surprised to be speaking with a real human being extremely fast. I really dislike a ton of prompts, so it was amazing to get to someone so quickly. The customer service I received while on the phone was amazing! She quickly looked up and found that my area did accept yard waste. She went above and beyond by continuing our conversation and asked if I had any issues or questions or if I needed help with the pick-up process. She even offered to scheduled something for me right then which would have saved so much time!
I truly was grateful for the amazing customer service I received while on the phone with Bagster Bag.
We have slowly been filling the bag with our yard waste and are just about finished. I know that once we are ready setting up and removing the bag will be a breeze because of Bagster Bag’s professional and quick service.

Buy it, store it, use it when you need it. It's compact, always on hand, and ready to use when you are.

I learned about how they have a chart helping you decide whether or not you want a bagster bag or a dumpster for your projects. I think that is very helpful. The bagster is for smaller projects.

Simple to set up and strong enough to hold up to 3,300 lb of debris or waste. It's the right size for renovations, landscaping, or home projects that don't require a full-size dumpster.
