Shrinkx Hips Review & Giveaway

I was ecstatic when I became pregnant.  I knew I would gain weight, what I didn’t know though was that it would immediately go to my thighs.  I’m pretty sure that’s where the first 10 pounds of my weight gain went.  I’ve actually had wide hips my entire life, but this was different.  About 2 weeks after I had the baby, I could actually fit back into my pre-pregnancy jeans (don’t hate me); but man were they tighter than before (but they still fit!).

Luckily, I had agreed to review Shrinkx Hips.  I received the Ultra ShrinkX Hips. Inside the box is everything you need.  The wrap, measuring tape, and a booklet that lets you keep track of your progress as additional information.  The product retails at $49.99.  Now before you say, “man, that’s a lot of money for something I’m not sure it’s going to work”.  Did you see above where I said it worked for 95% of moms!  Let’s just assume you are one of those moms!  It works! Since your pants likely don’t fit anyways because your hips expanded you will have to go buy a new pant wardrobe, so you mine as well at least give this a try.  It’s surely a lot cheaper than a new wardrobe.

I started wearing the belt between weeks 2 and 3 of my recovery and used it occasionally until the 8 week mark. I measured my hips before starting and after.  Like I said, they give you measuring tape and a book to write down your weekly stats, but honestly, some days I barely had time to remember to put on the belt, let alone remember to measure my hips so luckily I got the before and after numbers.

I wore the belt as often as possible around the house. I didn’t prefer to wear it out because I felt like you could see it clearly with the clothing that I wore; though if you wore a long shirt or a bulky shirt you wouldn’t be able to tell.  It was very comfortable to wear while standing up or walking around. Literally, sometimes I forgot I had it on. After sitting for a few minutes it was slightly uncomfortable. You can wear the Ultra one up to 24 hours at a time.

Does it work: I lost roughly 2 inches.  I probably could have lost more but honestly I have always had hips and I kind of like my curvy figure.  I just wanted to get them back to pre-pregnancy size. So happily I am definitely back to that point and there’s no question this product works.
