Last year, I unfortunately wasn’t able to make my Big Latch On event, but this year I was determined to make it. My community of like-minded parents, La Leche Leagues, breastfeeding support groups, and overall awesome support team, got us to the point of 20+ months breastfeeding and this year I was determined to make it no matter what. So, when I got the date, August 2nd, I marked it on my calendar. But I wanted to do more….
Being a “semi-crunchy/natural/AP mom blogger” I have some amazing contacts that I reached out to knowing that events like the Big Latch On are what inspires companies like this to be the amazing companies that they are all the time. I wanted to work with them to celebrate these amazing mommies! From my Ambassador programs that I’m a part of to just amazing companies I’ve partnered with, some of them came through with some great raffle prizes that I know my local mommas are just going to love!
I just wanted to write a post expressing my true love for what these amazing companies offered.
Boba. This company amazes me. They generously donated 4 carriers – 2 wraps and two 4G’s to our event. That’s almost $350 in awesomeness that is going to help moms keep their babies close to them.

Daddy & Company. We’ve been long time supporters of them on our blog and they donated 60 books …SIXTY… of their Scrubba Dub Dub with Daddy Duck books! This adorable story is great for daddy bonding time!
Love Hylands! Their teething tablets got us through some really rough months and they donated some of their amazing children’s line of products. Skibbles isn’t 2 yet, but we know this will be our go to when she needs something once she’s two! Buy Hyland’s Homeopathy Products HERE.
Nursing Bra Express was amazing when I first had Skibbles. I was in that awkward phase of will my boobs be this huge forever or deflate back to normal and their bra was just what I needed! They not only sent a $25 GC and reusable nursing pads for one lucky winner, but they also sent (not pictured) coupons for a lot of moms that will be coming.
LooHoo Wool Dryer Balls, oh how I love you. LooHoo makes the best and they sent a 3 pack starter set to one lucky mama plus there will be some amazing coupons for some of the moms! See our thoughts in our review of them here. Buy LooHoo Dryer Balls HERE.
Spark of Amber. Again, another company that was able to get us through some rough months of teething. Their amber necklaces are amazing and not only did they send a teething necklace, but they also sent one of their beautiful breastfeeding mommy necklaces.
Mommy MD Guides is another company that has been great to us. Their books are written by doctors who are also moms and give some great advice. While not everything in the books are “crunchy” it’s awesome to see all different sides and there is a ton of relatable information inside.

Last, but not least, ME! That’s right, I’ve made my first business donation to this event to help support my local community. I’ve gathered some amazing items to showcase what types of products you see on our blog and frequently have the chance to win! We are excited to showcase them off and one mama is going to win this entire prize bag valued at over $175!
