Summertime means lots of fun for our kids. We will spend countless hours outdoors swimming, going to the playground, gardening, and more. We typically spend at least an hour or more outside each day and up until a few weeks ago, all was well. But then, the bug bites starts.
As a kid growing up, we didn’t think much about this, but now, as a parent, it’s constantly freaking us out. We worry if they got bit by something poisonous, the fact that you can’t really tell a child to stop scratching and them actually listen, and if the bugs are carrying more harmful diseases like Lymes or Zika.
