Whether you planned to have a baby, have been waiting for a long time to finally conceive, or (like us) had a “whoops” moment, and are now expecting, chances are that if you are pregnant, you have given some thought into making sure you are taking the right multi-vitamin.  I know, personally, that before being pregnant, I was horrible at taking my vitamins, but as soon as I found out I was carrying a baby, I took them everyday. However, I always wondered if I was taking the right ones and getting enough of each preantal vitamins to ensure that my baby was growing as strong as possible while I was carrying her.

Happy Healthy Smart is hoping to ease your mind when it comes to purchasing your prenatal vitamins.  They have recently launched their new line — A Prenatal Multi-Vitamin and a Prenatal DHA. Both products contain a 60 day supply in each bottle and you take one tablet once a day.
  • Prenatal Multi Vitamin. Happy Healthy Smart says “It contains what you need with no extras.”  It is iron free, so if you need iron, reach out to your doctor about a prescription.  It does, unlike other prenatals, contain iodine, which studies are now showing beneficial in the development on babies.  They have folic acid, vitamin D, calcium, and iodine to ensure healthy development. Vitamins B6 and B12 also help fight morning sickness and nausea.
  • Prenatal DHA. One tablet, once a day, with a 60 day supply in each bottle in an easy to swallow softgel.  Recommended to take with the Happy Healthy Smart Multi Vitamin. DHA is important for brain and eyesight development for the baby, and help you strengthen your immune and emotional health during pregnancy.
