Pampers Easy Ups Makes Summer Fun + $100 Pampers Giveaway

June 9, 2014 by Larisha Campbell 44 Comments

No one ever tells you about all that parenthood has to offer.  Of course they share all the positives, but few actually share the negatives.  Teaching our children every thing they knows is daunting. I mean you are literally responsible for almost everything they learn (or don’t). And to be honest…

Disclosure: This review was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Pampers. I was provided the featured product(s) free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine.

I’m freaking out about the entire “potty learning” experience.  I want it to go smoothly, but who knows if that is going to happen.  Skibbles actually has gone to the potty on her own a few times, starting around 12 months.  I never pushed it though.  Now, she has regressed a bit.  She will ask often to go to the potty, but after sitting for .0006 seconds, she says, “all done.”

I knew we needed to do something soon so we can capitalize on her interest without pushing.  I remembered that with my older nieces, my sister used Pampers Easy Ups.  She talked about how easy they were to use and so I was excited to give them a go. We are just starting to slowly transition into using something like this, but we’ve been satisfied so far.

They are extremely easy to put on, and take off.  Additionally, she seems to love the brightly colored display of cartoon characters (dora) that adorn her tush. We got 2T-3T and they are a tad big on her small frame, but she is only 18 months, so we have time! Because they are so easy you will have a ton of extra time being able to play outside activities like chalk and bubbles with your little ones!

Key Features

  • Outstanding Leak Protection -even overnight – for unlimited summer fun
  • Absorbent core that holds 25% more than other training pants w/fewer leaks
  • Look more like underwear and have fun graphics
We even learned about Popette.  A fun, super compact portable potty that you can assembled and clean up in less than 2 minutes (well depending on how long it takes your toddler to get ready).

My daughter is 7 and not yet potty trained although we are working on it. She has Williams syndrome and is pretty severely developmentally delayed so we cannot get her fully potty trained until she comprehends more which might be at least another year or so. So these would be for her!

We are getting ready to start potty training as soon as the last of the diapers are gone. My littone just turned 2 last month. We are starting to introduce her to the potty process.

Our son is going to be 2 1/2 this month and we think that we will start at the beginning of next month. He has some communication delays so we do not want to stress him out too much to scare him away from it.

I started around 2 years old with my son, but had no luck, then 6 months later tried again and it was slow, but now at 3 he goes by himself – pee. Just need to work on the sleeping without the diaper and pull ups now. I plan on trying with my next – due in one week – around 2.5 yrs old

I have a 3 year old and a 2 year old my 3 year isn't potty trained yet, he refuses to go in the potty. I have tried training pants and even ones that have a alarm attached to it and he hates it and pulls the alarm off lol my 2 year old I think is getting ready to learn.

I started around 15 months with my son, because he showed all of the signs of being ready. He caught on super quick and was going on the potty (#1 and #2 lol) like a big boy, and only used a diaper at night. Unfortunately, his little sister was born 3 weeks ago and that has made him revert it seems. So I am having to start the process all over again. 😉 He is now 17 months.

We let our daughter lead on the potty training. We do encourage her by talking to her and reading her books about it. She started using the potty on her own and is doing very well. She started at about 2.5 years old.
