It shouldn’t be too much of a surprise, but…I have a slight shoe obsession. I am a woman after all!
However, most of my shoes are heels and since becoming a mom they just aren’t working for me any longer. I’m not the celebrity type of girl that wants to wear heels at 8 months pregnant OR while carrying a 15 pound child on me. So, unfortunately, most of my heels have gotten pushed to the side and now I love wearing sneakers and flats. I had been looking for something a little dressier, when I first saw the Skechers BOBS. I was immediately in love. They had so many adorable designs to choose from and definitely ones that I could dress up or down depending on what I was doing! It was hard to be able to pick just one.
Ultimately, I made a decision and I received the BOBS Nourish to review. The bright pink and blue meshed nicely with the neutral tan and small speck of dark brown that was featured on this shoe. I knew I would be in love as soon as I saw them on the site and eagerly awaited them to arrive at the door. I received them in the mail and quickly opened the box. Even Andrew commented how how nice they were! I put them on right away and noticed instantly how comfy they are! I love how they mix my love of sneakers with a flat. They are easy to put on and even after walking around for a few hours they felt great on me thanks to the sole and traction of the shoe that blends in perfectly with the design.
As a mom now, it’s important that my shoes not only look and function well, but that they are easy to clean as well. Let’s face it… It’s inevitable that I’m going to get something on my shoes (primarily throw up at this stage of mommyhood), so the fact that my BOBS are so easy to just wipe off is a great benefit. I just used a warm, wet washcloth and it just came right off and didn’t mess up anything!
