During the holidays growing up, at all of our family functions, there was soda and kool-aid. That’s it. You had to choose from those two options or you had to choose water. Now, I’ve had punch throughout my life, but it was never made with real fruit that I remember until meeting Andrew’s mom. For Thanksgiving, ever year she makes a punch and a sangria. I asked her the secret to make it taste so good and she said two things – you have to let the fruits sit for a few hours minimum and you have to add a bang. Vintage® Seltzer is what gives the bang. You want something to make your mouth pop and this recipe does just that. With the duo of cranberries and apples along with other fruits, it’s the perfect Thanksgiving inspired sangria recipe or a just because recipe. Don’t drink alcohol or don’t want it around for the littles? Don’t worry. We’re showing you today how to make it a sangria recipe or a regular punch recipe.
What’s even better is that the punch recipe is 100% toddler approved. I love that we have a recipe that we can make and share with our girl and feel good about her having a treat, but still getting nutrients too. She loves getting some whole pieces of fruit to chew on!
Vintage® Seltzer is our go-to for enhancing any punch or sangria. The fizz and bubbles are just so much better in our opinion.Vintage® Seltzer has no artificial flavors, no added colors or dyes, no high fructose corn syrup, and no sugar. This is HUGE for us, especially when we are letting our toddler drink something. Also, because of Andrew’s high blood pressure, we love thatVintage® Seltzer is low in sodium, some of the flavors even having no sodium.
Vintage® Seltzer comes in 10 different flavors: Original, Lemon-Lime, Mandarin Orange, Lemon, Lime, Pomegranate, Seedless Watermelon, Raspberry, Raspberry – Lime, and Wild Cherry.
You can find your local retailer by visiting drinkvintage.com/find-vintage. We found a small selection of Vintage® Seltzer in our local Target store and a larger selection in our local Wal-mart store right in the drink aisle. The bright blue boxes are hard to miss, so you shouldn’t have a problem finding them. I loved getting the 1 liter bottles because our store had more flavors available in those. They also sell 12-pack 12oz cans and typically retails for $3.99.
Lastly, making a Thanksgiving or holiday tablescape doesn’t have to be difficult. Grab some fresh produce – in our case for Thanksgiving inspired, we chose pumpkins and apples. If you were making this for Easter, for example, you could do oranges and strawberries. Adding a bowl of wedged limes and lemons is always a great addition as well. Putting a small box under your tablecloth to add height and dimension. You’ll have the perfect tablescape to show off to your guests.
We hope you enjoy our Thanksgiving holiday inspired Cranberry Apple Sangria recipe that you can also make non-alcoholic. Let us know what you think in the comments!

This looks so delicious! My favorite adult drink!
Mine is a close race between Sangria and Baileys 🙂
I never thought to add seltzer to sangria – brilliant!
Right!? So, so good
