I have been *slowly* packing our bags for the hospital.  I saw this idea somewhere on the internet early in my pregnancy, but then couldn’t find it again, so I decided last night to make our own.
While I do not plan for my baby to ever leave my room while we are at the hospital, let’s face it…not everything always goes as expected and if there are complications with either the baby or myself, there may be a period of time when the baby is away.  Because of that, I wanted a sign to go on our babies bassinet that clearly stated our desires that our baby will be exclusively breastfed.

That's a great idea! I know with my last pregnancy my daughter only left the room once to have a hearing test done. But you are right, you never know if something should happen. I will be delivering at the same hospital as last time, and they don't take the baby from the room unless it is necessary! But with my first, 12 years ago, I didn't see my baby for several hours! Then I was

My son was in NICU, he refused to mouth feed so I pumped as much as I could…but I never could produce more then 2oz at a time….. so he was formula fed whether I liked it or not 🙁 But this is a great idea for a parent who doesnt have the issues I did.

This really is a great idea. So wish I'd had this for my delivery. Really would have made my wishes 100% clear. Moms who plan to breastfeed, do this!

I really like this idea and will have to bookmark it! I'll be in the midwives section of our hospital but the nurses handle the OB section as well, so this might be good to bring with us to the hospital just in case.
